Dhiar sipped at a mixed drink, full of sweetness and fruit. He could barely even taste the alcohol, which was the best way to have it; no-one except a real alcoholic — or a connoisseur, as the term tended to be softened — actually wanted to taste the booze. It was all the same to him, tasting it or not tasting it, but on the whole he preferred the fruity bouquet. He had a sweet tooth, and fruit satisfied it much more perfectly than most confection.
